Creep is a short narrative Twine game about the experience of being apologised to after a colleague has crossed a line with you.
The intention with this game was to make the player feel helpless. As you progress, choices constantly get shut down for you. I wanted to present the options that the player would naturally want to take – standing up for yourself, refusing to forgive the other person, etc – but refuse to let them take those options, instead highlighting all the ways in which they are trapped.
The player should get the feeling of being a young person exploited in the industry: there’s the illusion of choice, but ultimately your fate has already been decided by men a lot more powerful than you.
